Graduation Outfits Featuring Emma

Min smukke, dejlige, dygtige lillesøster bliver student om en uge, og i den anledning tænkte vi, at vi igen i år ville lave et indlæg med outfits til inspiration. Sidste år lavede vi dette indlæg, men i år er det ekstra specielt, fordi Emma selv bliver student, og det er derfor alle de outfits hun har planlagt til de fantastiske dage hun skal opleve næste uge!

My beautiful, amazing, talented little sister is graduating in one week (in Denmark we go to public school for nine years, optional tenth grade for one year and then a lot of young people choose to go to the “gymnasium” for three years, which is what you need to go to the university – when you are done with your last exam in the gymnasium you get a red and white hat that the young graduates proudly wear everywhere they go. They go for a day long ride with their class in an open truck and visit all their homes where their parents have usually prepared food and drinks (so you can imagine they get pretty tipsy) with their hats when everybody have passed their exams) and for that occasion we thought we would make an entry here with outfits for inspiration. Last year we made this entry, but this year is more special because Emma herself is now graduating and therefore all the outfits are ones she has planned to wear on the amazing days she is going to have next week!

Den sidste eksamen / The Last Exam

Til den sidste eksamen og overrækkelsen af huen (som Emmas heldige storebror, min lillebror, skal give hende på) har Emma valgt at tage en rigtig fin kjole på. Hun har haft den længe, fordi hun gemte den til en speciel lejlighed. Hele familien skal ud at spise efter Emmas eksamen, og derfor vil hun have denne kjole på, da den er super fin og formel, men stadig sommerlig og afslappet. Den skal helst ikke skal gå i stykker på f.eks. vognturen, da den er fra Spell Designs, og derfor er dyrere end de andre items hun har valgt, så den bliver til den mere stille og rolige aften.

For the last exam and just after, the first time she wears her hat, (which Emma’s lucky older brother, my younger brother, is going to place on her head – it brings bad luck to wear your hat before the exams, so the graduates have not worn it before this moment) Emma has chosen to wear a really pretty dress. She has had it for a long time because she has been saving it for a special occasion. The entire family are going to be there waiting for her to hear her result of the final exam and then going out for dinner afterwards and that is why she wants to wear this dress, since it is super pretty and formal, but still light and casual for Summer. She does not want anything to happen to this dress, as it is from Spell Designs, and therefore more expensive than the other pieces she chose, so it is perfect for the more quiet and calm evening.

Vognturen / The Drive

Til vognturen vil Emma have noget mere komfortabelt og afslappet på, men som stadig matcher hendes fine hue. Det er også koldt at stå i den kørende vogn hele dagen, så derfor tager hun jeans på frem for shorts. Den fine crop top er afslappet, men samtidig super fin og formel sammen med de højtaljede jeans, og pga. pasformen og materialet.

For the drive Emma will wear something more comfortable and casual, but still match her pretty hat. It is also cold to stand in the truck all day (there is an open roof so they stand outside on it all day) so therefore she is going to wear jeans instead of shorts. The pretty crop top is casual, but still super pretty and formal with the high waisted jeans and because of the fit and material.

Translokationen / The Graduation

Til translokationen har Emma valgt en super fin og klassisk hvid kjole, som er fin og formel, men også frisk og sommerlig til festen de holder på skolen. Perfekt til både overrækkelsen af eksamensbeviset med familien som tilskuere, og festen med klassen og alle de andre studenter bagefter. Den er fra H&M og ikke så dyr, så det er ikke verdens undergang hvis Emma skulle spilde på den eller lignende. Den er desuden behagelig og luftig at have på.

For the graduation Emma chose a super pretty classic white dress which is pretty and formal, but also fresh and Summer-like for the party they are having at the school. Perfect for both the handing out of the graduation papers with the family watching and the party with the class and all the other students afterwards. It is from H&M and not too expensive, so it is not going to be the end of the world if Emma is to spill on it or anything. Besides that it is very comfortable and breezy to wear.
